Teen left seriously injured after crash |
||

Dear Resident, Can you help with our witness appeal? A teenager has been left with serious injuries in hospital after a collision between a pick-up truck and an e-scooter in Farcet near Peterborough. The 17-year-old, from Peterborough, was riding an e-scooter along Peterborough Road when he was involved in the collision at 4.16pm yesterday (Monday, 17 November). He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, where he remains.
The driver of the pick-up truck, a man from Peterborough, was uninjured, interviewed at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries. We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information, including dash cam footage, to get in touch – particularly if they witnessed either vehicle before the collision. An investigation has been launched and people are urged to report information to police online quoting Operation Wilcocks or incident 316 of 17 November. Call 101 if you do not have internet access.
